trim

The “Trim!” project was conceived in January 2006 when drummer Francesco Pradella together with keyboard player Giuliano Valori combined their talents with singer Claudio Desideri, guitarist Francesco Cavalluzzo and bass player Yann Rogier, to form a band.
The band soon created their first tracks called “Shalalalà” and “Un sorriso che non c’è”. These two tracks point to Trim’s musical creation, different facets and show the band’s adaptability which consists of being able to pass by firm pop/rock to evocative rock/dance genre, the whole, distinguished by surrounding and warm sonorities, aimed at arousing a kind of magic.

pax Visit the Roman Gladiator Camp at Festitalia 2007 and look with awe on the fearsome Ballister - Rome's introduction to modern battle techniques!
Share the adrenalin rush as gladiators compete on the open field! Pax Roman's replica suits of armour and battle camps are as authentic as history records this mighty period in Italy's ancient history.
Pax Romana was formed in 1997 to reenact Early Imperial Roman life. The group has two primary focuses. The first is the reenactment of the Roman Military.
The group’s second focus is gladiatorial combat in which 10 members have trained. Pax Romana re-enacts the Ludi Romani Gladiatori or School of Gladiators in Rome. This school was owned by the Emperors and would have had hundreds of Gladiators training who were usually acquired as slaves from the provincial arenas by the equivalent of ‘talent scouts. Pax Romana’s members train to perform gladiatorial combat. Each has chosen a unique gladiatorial combat style and combination of weapons and amour. Pax Romana trains every weekend to ensure that its combatants are safe since the participants are wearing a minimum of armour compared to other military combat types throughout history. The combats are not choreographed and hence the winner is the best on the day. The gladiatorial combats are always a crowd favourite, with members of the public getting a real feel for what the Roman’s enjoyed most (without the blood...well most of the time anyway!) Come and enjoy !
